Career Planning and Placement Center Announces Spring 2015 Events
One of many of Wright’s resources for students, the Career Planning and Placement Center (Science Building, Room 128) has announced its lineup of workshops and events for Spring 2015. Through these valuable workshops, students and community members can gain helpful information about:
- Navigating the job search and interviewing processes.
- Writing resumes, cover letters, and other documents.
- Answering tough interview questions.
- Dressing for professional success.
- And much more!
The workshops are designed to prepare students for the Annual Spring Job Fair and Career Day, scheduled this year for April 23, 2015. This annual event attracts more than 80 corporations, organizations, government agencies and other employers to the Wright College campus.
Students or alumni looking for jobs or internships may register for free to the Career Network, City Colleges of Chicago’s online job board.
Led by Director Joe Reaves, Wright’s Career Planning & Placement Center provides comprehensive services to help students make informed decisions about careers and successfully transition into the workforce. Joe is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who has worked in the fields of career services and higher education for the past 20 years.
