Dozens of Classrooms Improved with Technology Upgrades
During the spring and summer months, Wright College’s Office of Information Technology (OIT) worked to improve the classroom experience for students, faculty and staff. Several classrooms at Wright’s Main and Humboldt Park locations received significant audio/visual (AV) technology upgrades.
Five Smart Classrooms were installed at Wright’s Main campus during the summer, adding to the seven completed in late Spring 2015. Upgraded classrooms include: A-306, A-310, A-315, E-301, S-201, S-203, S-204, S-205, S-215, S-319, S-333, and S-335.
In addition to the Smart Classrooms, 16 aging data projectors were replaced in Multimedia Classrooms — eight at Wright/Humboldt Park and eight at Wright/Main. Upgraded Multimedia Classrooms include:
- Wright/Humboldt Park: 202, 208, 211*, 214, 309, 312, 313, 314
- Wright/Main: S-225, A-229, A-302, A-324, A-325, A-330, A-331, A-335
The mobile carts available in Room L-110 at Wright/Main and Room 314 at Wright/Humboldt Park have also been updated. OIT also added three document camera carts to the fleet at Wright/Main and one data projection cart to the fleet at Wright/Humboldt Park.
Faculty and staff are encouraged to share their feedback about these upgrades using this survey.
