Engineering Pathways Application Window Now Open for Fall 2016
Information sessions for prospective high school students are scheduled for October 29, 2015 and February 11 and March 10 of 2016.
The Engineering Pathways program offers savings of nearly $35,000 in tuition and fees for the nation’s fifth-ranked engineering program at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
The Engineering Pathways program offers qualifying high school applicants guaranteed admission to the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign’s (UIUC) College of Engineering. Students must apply to the competitive program and enroll in an associate degree program at Wright College.
Following successful completion of Pathways program course requirements, students are guaranteed admission to the University of Illinois’ College of Engineering in their junior year of study. UIUC’s College of Engineering is ranked fifth in the nation by U.S. News & World Report (September 2015).
Nine Wright College are currently enrolled in the Engineering Pathways program for Fall 2015. Seven of the nine students are also Star Scholars.
Wright College transfer students admitted through the Engineering Pathways program will save close to $35,000 in tuition in fees over UIUC Engineering students admitted as college freshmen. In addition to guaranteed admission for eligible and qualified students, the Engineering Pathways program offers financial scholarships to its participants.
Wright College will host an Engineering Pathways Information Session for prospective students and their families on Thursday, October 29 at 7:00 p.m (Science Building, Room S-100). Information sessions for the spring semester are scheduled for February 11, 2016 and March 10, 2016. at 7:00 p.m.
The application deadline is March 15, 2016.
