Bonnie Kang (left), Wright College’s Dean of College to Careers, and Lupe Martinez, Career Pathways Director for Instituto del Progreso Latino, share plans for the Bridge to Information Technology (IT) program during the March 2015 Community Collaborators meeting at HPVEC.

In Fall 2014, the Humboldt Park Vocational Education Center’s (HPVEC’s) Community Advisory Council expanded into a Regional Community Collaborators Group, broadening the local community partnership base.

This group meets quarterly with Wright College faculty, staff and administrators to discuss strategic initiations and share ideas and feedback. The next meeting is scheduled for June 2015.

The March 2015 meeting focused on HPVEC improvements, College to Careers initiatives, and summer and fall 2015 courses, including developments in information technology, manufacturing, adult education and high school programs.

The full presentation is available here.
