March 15 Application Deadline Approaching for UIUC Engineering Pathways Program; Final Info Session Feb. 26
High school students interested in applying for the Engineering Pathways program – where qualified participants are guaranteed transfer admission to the University of Illinois’ College of Engineering – have until the March 15, 2015 deadline to submit their applications.
The Engineering Pathways partnership between Wright and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) offers qualifying high school applicants guaranteed admission to UIUC’s College of Engineering. Students must apply to the competitive program and enroll in an associate degree program at Wright College.
Following successful completion of Pathways program course requirements, students are guaranteed admission to the University of Illinois’ College of Engineering in their junior year of study. UIUC’s College of Engineering is ranked sixth in the nation by U.S. News & World Report (September 2014).
Wright College will host its final Engineering Pathways Information Session on Thursday, February 26, at 7:00 p.m., in the Faculty Dining Room of the Science Building. Representatives from Wright College and the University of Illinois’ College of Engineering will conduct the session and will answer questions from prospective students and their families.
Wright College transfer students admitted through the Engineering Pathways program will save close to $35,000 in tuition in fees over UIUC Engineering students admitted as college freshmen.
Please note: the Engineering Pathways transfer partnership program is exclusively for incoming freshmen, not currently enrolled students.
