Meet the Vice Chancellors – a Wright College town hall meeting on February 27, 2014
To all Wright College students, faculty and staff –
I would like to invite you to a Wright College town hall meeting to hear about – and provide feedback on – City Colleges of Chicago initiatives designed to support Reinvention goals at our college. Called “Meet the Vice Chancellors” because it will feature the heads of various departments at the District office whose activities support, directly or indirectly, the mission of Wright College and City Colleges of Chicago as a whole, it is a great opportunity for all of us to learn and share.
We have scheduled “Meet the Vice Chancellors” for Thursday, February 27, 2014 from 4:00 – 6:00 pm in the Events Building Atrium. No RSVP is necessary.
This town hall is an extension of consultations undertaken by District representatives, who each year hold small meetings at each college to understand the goals and needs of those who study and work here. These conversations have been very productive. Our District colleagues and I wanted to create a forum for similar dialogue among the broader college community.
At this event you will hear and engage in a conversation about our collective efforts to build on the successes of Reinvention to continue strengthening our culture focused on student success. The Vice Chancellors will present their departments’ operations and how they support our college. An open question-and-answer session will follow those presentations.
I very much hope that you will be able to attend – and I look forward to seeing you at this important event.
With all best wishes,
