November 12 Town Hall Meeting to Feature City Colleges Leadership

Town Hall Craig Lynch Student 2

Town Hall Meetings provide an opportunity for students, faculty and staff to share ideas, concerns and suggestions with City Colleges and Wright College leadership.

Dear Wright College students, faculty and staff:

I would like to cordially invite you to a Wright College Town Hall Meeting to hear about and provide feedback on City Colleges of Chicago’s programs and initiatives. The Town Hall Meeting will feature the leadership from City Colleges’ District Office – the heads of various departments whose activities support, directly or indirectly, the mission of Wright College and City Colleges of Chicago as a whole.

The event is scheduled for Thursday, November 12, 2015, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm, in the Events Building Atrium. A live feed will be available at Wright’s Humboldt Park Vocational Education Center.

This is an important opportunity to engage in a conversation about our joint efforts to continue to build and strengthen our culture focused on student success. The visiting Vice Chancellors will present information about their departments’ operations and how they support our college. Expected participants include:

  • Joyce Carson, Vice Chancellor of Finance & Business Enterprise/CFO
  • Craig Lynch, Chief of Staff & Enterprise Services
  • Rasmus Lynnerup, Executive Vice Chancellor & Chief Strategy Officer
  • Jerrold Martin, Vice Chancellor, Chief Information Officer
  • Diane Minor, Vice Chancellor, Administrative Services and Procurement
  • Beatrice O’Donnell, Vice Chancellor, Safety and Security
  • Laurent Pernot, Executive Vice Chancellor and Senior Advisor
  • Stephanie Tomino, Vice Chancellor, Human Resources & Staff Development

Town Hall Meetings provide an opportunity for students, faculty and staff to share ideas, concerns and suggestions with City Colleges and Wright College leadership.

This Town Hall Meeting is an extension of consultations undertaken by District representatives, who each year hold small meetings at each college to understand the hopes and needs of those who study and work here. These conversations have proven to be very productive and our District colleagues and I wanted to extend this dialogue among the broader Wright College community.

I hope to see you at this event.

With all best wishes,

David
