Wright College Information GCFD

The successful partnership between Wright College and Greater Chicago Food Depository continues.

Once a month in the Wright Faculty Dining Area, volunteers – including students, faculty and staff – distribute fresh fruit, vegetables and fresh-stable items to those in need – students, faculty, staff and community members. The Healthy Student Market, a Greater Chicago Food Depository initiative, is supported by volunteers who receive and distribute the food.

We are grateful for the efforts of the many involved in this project and we are impressed with the way they have collaborated in this undertaking. Special thanks to Gaby Guzman for her tireless work to spread the word and help those in need. And a big thank you to the Greater Chicago Food Depository for their continued partnership, as we strive together to help meet the needs of all those we serve.

Please check out the spot recently released by CBS TV – so exciting and empowering!
