The Wright Emporium, Now Open!
Wright College is excited to announce the opening of the Wright Emporium … a brand-new, comfortable learning environment dedicated to supporting students and their academic success.
Inside the Wright Emporium (S-102), students will find the technology and tutoring resources needed to improve their math proficiency and digital literacy. Light, airy and open, with a math-themed design, the Emporium provides all students with an inviting space to work with tutors, participate in study groups, attend workshops or study independently.
The Emporium’s technology resources include computers, tablets, and next-generation displays. Starting in the Spring semester, students, faculty, and staff will have the opportunity to check out one of the more than 60 Microsoft Surface Pro 3 tablets that will be available.
The Emporium also features rolling whiteboards, which can be used for instruction and as privacy partitions. The Emporium’s glass-walled conference room provides an impressive space for larger meetings and workshops.
The Wright Emporium assumes all functions of the former math tutoring space in L-400. Current tutoring topics include math and physics, with additional topics expected to be offered soon. Tutoring services are one of the many student resources available to Wright College students.
For questions about tutoring appointments or for more information, please call 773-481-8458 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. The director of the Wright Emporium is Jeremiah Bridges, Director of Academic Support Services.
The Emporium is located in the former bookstore space, Science Building, Room S-102.
