Wright College Architecture Students to Present Final Projects, Receive Critiques Dec. 11
Twenty-one Wright College architecture students will present their final projects for critique on Thursday, December 11, 2014, from 9:30 a.m. until 12:20 p.m. in the Arts Building Lobby. All students, faculty and staff are invited and encouraged to attend this critique session, featuring the work of first- and second-year Design Studio students (ARCHITC 166 and ARCHITC 266, respectively). Snacks and drinks will be provided.
ARCHITC 166 students will present design for a Single Family Home on a lot that they hand selected in the City of Chicago, while ARCHITC 266 students will present design for a Bicycle Center on a lot that they also hand selected in the City of Chicago. The students developed their work over the course of six weeks.
Architecture Department Adjunct Professor Robert Cordero will conduct the critique, along with eight jury members from the architecture field. Each student will receive constructive criticism on the design and the execution of his or her drawings and/or presentations.
